Is Extenze FDA-Approved or Not?

What if Extenze FDA approval does not exist? Most people will probably think that this product is not safe and illegally distributed. Now, what if I tell you that Extenze FDA disapproval does not exist either? That will surely give you confusion.

What is Extenze According to FDA?

As everyone knows, Extenze is a male enhancement supplement. But Food and Drugs Administration identifies it as a dietary supplement.

According to FDA, a dietary supplement “may include vitamins, minerals, herbs or other botanicals, amino acids, and substances such as enzymes, organ tissues, glandulars, and metabolites.” It can be concentrates or extracts from these substances. A dietary supplement “may be found in many forms such as tablets, capsules, softgels, gelcaps, liquids, or powders.

Being a dietary supplement, Extenze must operate under the regulations of FDA.

Is Extenze FDA-Approved?

No. Extenze and even other dietary supplements do not need to get FDA`s approval. According to the agency, “Generally, manufacturers do not need to register their products with FDA nor get FDA approval before producing or selling dietary supplements.”

However, a dietary supplement using a new dietary ingredient needs to be screened and reviewed by the agency before the production. But Extenze was made without using any new dietary supplement so it did not undergo such review. This means that all the ingredients used by the product were already FDA-approved.

So, although Extenze FDA`s approval is not there, its production, marketing, and selling is legitimate. FDA will not question Extenze`s legibility for as long as it “makes sure that product label information is truthful and not misleading.”

Is Extenze FDA-Disapproved?

No. As mentioned, Extenze does not need any approval from FDA. That means, there is no chance that the product will be disapproved. After all, it`s a dietary supplement that does not promise any cure for any illness. If Extenze does that, only at that moment that the FDA will start investigating the product.

Extenze explicitly posts that their claims “have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.” That`s only one sign that Extenze if following the FDA regulations.

What About the Extenze FDA-Approved Label Used in the Past?

Extenze was accused of misleading claims. One of the problems then was the “FDA-Approved” label on the product. It was the manufacturer`s fault and they know that. But this gave the manufacturer a great lesson—a lesson learned the hard way. So if you`ll see the new Extenze product, there is no “FDA-Approved” label anymore.

Check out competing products as well and see if they have this same label. If they do, that does not mean that they are really approved by the FDA. You can check FDA`s website for a complete list of their approved products. Immediately report to FDA if you see FDA unapproved products putting “FDA-Approved” label.

Should You Still Use Extenze?

Why not? Many effective dietary supplements in the market performed excellent and provided great reliefs for many people despite that these are not FDA-approved.

What you should consider now are the Extenze ingredients that are all FDA-approved. That already ensures safety of the product. That may also give you the right to say that Extenze FDA approval truly exists.
